MBSIA has purchased a number of pieces of professional marine research equipment for use in various association projects. Equipment, including a heavy duty, high defiinition underwater video package and motion compensated marine scale is available to MBSIA members free of charge (subject to availability & deposit required), and is available for hire to non-members. The equipment is ideal for quality data collection at sea. The video camera can even be attached to trawl gear to view how boards and nets perform in real time during fishing operations.
