Brisbane River Developments In effort to provide long term solutions to the increasing issue of commercial developments within the Brisbane River, MBSIA in conjunction with QSIA, Port of Brisbane, and DPI&F, are holding meetings to work out a plan for to map the priority areas of the River and appropriate offsets to commercial fishers. Offsets may include but are not limited to: opening of new grounds, provision of facilities for commercial fishers (moorings) and financial compensation.
